About Us
Welcome To Grayhawk Beach
Our Grayhawk Mission
The beach club was founded out of love and passion around the sport of beach volleyball. When we started it was all about beach volleyball, but the positive impact the organization was going to have on players, parents, and coaches was unexpected. We had no idea how much enjoyment would come from coaching and passing on the love of the game to kids and how infectious that passion would be to young players. Our club culture is rooted in helping young people become better humans and all our coaches understand this without even thinking about it. We want to be a club where players can give their phone a break, have fun, make friends, leave practice with a smile on their face, and look forward to next one.

Fall Program in progress and ends December, 2023. Training from 6-7:30pm and 7:30-9pm on M/W (check age group for details). New players must register then schedule an evaluation.

Select Travel and Local Training
Sign Up Now
Select Travel – Training starts in September 2023 continues thru May 2024 and compete in competitive local and travel tournaments focused on playing in college. Players must be committed to learning skills and strategies for playing at highest level in both local/travel events, and committed to beach volleyball as primary sport. Teams currently have spots available, try-outs scheduled for first 2 weeks in January 2024.
Select Local – Training starts in September 2023 continues thru May 2024 and compete in local tournaments and beach club league events focused on learning the game and improving skill. Fall selections have completed but some spots available based on player evaluation.

NEW Players - First Session FREE and must come to the White group practice for evaluation.
The 16/18u training available to high school players (9th-12th graders) focused on being proficient at the beach game. This group is divided into 2 training groups.

For 7th-12th grade boys looking to try beach or cross-train for indoor club. This class is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8 pm. Get quality reps and master the game with our amazing coaches.

Program Details
NEW Players - First Session FREE
For 8 to 10 year old players who are brand new to sand. Focus on Fun, movement, agility, with introduction to volleyball basics will be objective for this group. Partners not required. We encourage friendships and coming out to learn beach with your friends or siblings. Coaches will adapt practices to match the capabilities of the group and beginning 11/12 year olds welcome. Advanced players may be invited to the 12u Blue Group at Scottsdale Ranch Park for more volleyball focused skills training.

Coaches may scrimmage and assist players with in-game doubles coaching. Partner not required, and coaches may encourage partnerships for upcoming select tournaments during practice.
